LaVerne Carpenter, 95, of Darlington, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1302 Clay St., Darlington. Burial will be at Union Grove Cemetery, Darlington.

A visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. until time of services.
