LENA - Lena-Winslow High School will present the musical "The Wizard of Oz" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 in the Lena-Winslow Fine Arts Center Auditorium, 401 Fremont St.
Senior Credence Stouffer will play Dorothy, who visits the Land of Oz and meets up with the Scarecrow, played by senior Lexi Graf; the Tinman will be played by senior Tristan Fox; and the Lion will be played by senior Sean Cory. Sophomore Rachael Wybourn is Glinda the Good Witch, and junior Bailey Graf is the Wicked Witch of the West. Freshman Colton Brinker makes his debut as The Great and Wonderful Oz. They are joined on stage by a chorus of Munchkins, talking trees, hypnotizing poppies and Winkies.
The pit orchestra will accompany the cast with favorite songs like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" and "Follow the Yellow Brick Road."
Tickets will be available at the door on the nights of the performance. The price is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
