South Wayne blood drive sees 27 donors

SOUTH WAYNE - American Red Cross blood drive at Marty's Village Inn, South Wayne collected 26 pints on Nov. 18. There were 27 potential donors presented with three deferrals and one double to make the 25 pint quota.

There were no first-time donors. Meeting gallon marks were Ed Ernst, 9 gallons; Connie Meier, 8 gallons; and Gary Burns, 1 gallon.

Jeffery Blum gave a double. Other donors were Loretta Brummel, Cheryl Dale, Grant Dale, Nancy Ernzen, Carl Gille, Eleanor Gille, Janet Gobeli, Steve Gobeli, Bonnie Gordon, Kenneth Heimannn, Robert Hull, Joan Jenson, James Magee, Mary McKnight, Jim Meier, Jeff Monson, Gene Montgomery, Samantha Neuenschwander, David Renken, Elaine, Renken, Donald Seffrood, Debra Wolff and Mary Zimmerman.

Donating to the canteen were Herb and Pat Baumgartner, cheese and sausage; Monroe Subway, subs; South Wayne Mart, milk; Village Inn, coffee; Joyce Paulson, sandwiches; and Lori Sawdey and Connie Meier, cookies.

Helpers at the drive were Joyce Paulson, Susie Junk, Lori Sawdey and Connie Meier.
