MONROE - Pastor Carolyn Myers Fredriksen will conduct services at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1025 15th Ave., at 5 p.m. today, Sept. 14 and at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.
Fredriksen is a graduate of Monroe High School. She attended Luther College and graduated from UW-Madison and the Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago. Fredriksen was ordained at Carthage College, Kenosha, and served congregations in Wisconsin Rapids; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Rockford, Ill. She is currently serving at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Glendale. Fredriksen and her husband, John, returned from a five-week Sabbatical in Southern Europe, where they visited Italy, Greece, Turkey, Monaco, Spain and France.
Fredriksen will celebrate her parents Archie and Wanda Myers' 66th wedding anniversary while she is in Monroe.
The services are open to the public.
