NEW GLARUS — Two New Glarus High School students have been recognized as part of the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program: Melanie Fink and Nolan Belknap. Both students have been recognized with a letter of commendation for their outstanding academic performance.
Students are initially selected based off of their Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which serves as the initial screen of program entrants. Both students are part of 34,000 students nationwide that are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
Nolan is the son of Matt and Meaghan Evans Belknap and Melanie is the daughter of Eric and Jessie Fink.
