Monroe Girl Scouts raise money for summer 2016 trip to Georgia

MONROE - Several Monroe Girl Scouts from two local troops have banded together to form the Georgia Girls, who are working together to raise funds to earn their way to Savannah, Ga in the summer of 2016. Savannah is the birthplace of the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Lowe. The group consists of girls entering fourth through seventh grade.
