MONROE — Monroe Clinic & Hospital Foundation, a member of SSM Health, held its 19th Annual Golf Outing on Aug. 6 at the Monroe Golf Club. Participation included a turnout of 144 golfers and 178 guests for dinner at the Ludlow Mansion Events. This year’s event raised over $90,500.
“Our focus this year is supporting the investment of cardiac care to accommodate more treatments locally, keeping our patients close to home,” said Jane Sybers, Monroe Clinic Foundation Executive Director. “Thanks to generous support through our donors, the hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab expansion includes the creation of three new prep and recovery rooms. We are proud to contribute to this effort to enhance the patient experience from start to finish.”
The evening program provided updates from the hospital and foundation, including information on cardiac catheterization lab expansion project. To round out the evening, a silent and live auction, that featured popular items such as a stained-glass panel from the St. Clare Hospital Chapel and 50-yard line Badger Football Homecoming game tickets, brought forward the competitive spirit of many.
