Jerry Lee Senn, age 86, of rural Browntown passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born the son of Jacob and Edna (Wallbum) Senn on March 15, 1940 in Monroe. He was a graduate of Monroe High School. He also proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. Jerry was united in marriage to Barbara Koller on August 12, 1967 in Monroe.
Jerry worked on a gas pipeline prior to his time in the military. After he and Barb were married they ran and cared for their third-generation family farm, outside of Browntown, for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, he liked going morel mushroom hunting, fishing, water skiing, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle and 4-wheeler; as well as attending numerous car shows.
Jerry was a devoted husband and a dedicated, proud father and grandfather. He will be remembered for being a jokester and his many one-liners.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Barb of Browntown; four children, Kelly (Mike Cook) Senn of Trego, WI, Brian (Michelle) Senn of Monroe, Julie (Chris) Birch of Holladay, UT, and Mark (LaNee’) Senn of Milton; and 7 grandchildren; Cora, Lukas, Jared, Kara, Bryce, Karlie, and Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Jan Wischoff and Joanne Senn.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home. A Private Family Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the funeral home. Please feel comfortable to ‘come as you are’.
A memorial fund is being established in Jerry’s memory to support the Monroe FFA.
