MAC hosts Music After Dark
Community Brief

MONROE — On Saturday, May 18, Monroe Arts Center celebrates some of the areas most talented musicians as they take the stage in the concert Music After Dark. Musicians Don Markese, Peg Miller, Haylee Espinoza, Hugo Espinoza, Jennifer Hendrickson, Lilly Cherney, and Matt Peters will entertain in an evening devoted entirely to music.

There will be a variety of musical genres and styles presented from each of the musicians; jazz, Broadway, pop, and country tunes. Anecdotes about the music, composers, and the musicians themselves will enhance the musical experience and delight the senses of the audience.

Under the direction of MAC Executive Director, Kathy Hennessy, with Big Radio’s Dan Blum as the Master of Ceremonies and musical direction/and accompaniment by Cindy Blanc, the intimate Music After Dark performance brings the magic of music to life. Not only is this the final performance of MAC’s 49th Season, but this event is also a special fundraiser, benefiting Monroe Arts Center’s Children’s Programming.

Tickets are available online at monroeartscenter.com or in person at the Monroe Arts Center box office at 1315 11ths Street. The MAC box office is open for any last-minute ticket purchases.  For more information on ticket prices, visit monroeartscenter.com.
