MONROE - The Monroe Clinic Hospice is offering "Handling the Holidays" from 1:30 to 3:30 Nov. 7 at the St. Camillus Center, 2101 6th St.
For adults grieving the loss of a loved one, the holidays can be an especially challenging time of year. The purpose of this event is to help people cope with grief during the Christmas season. Topics covered will include: Identifying common holiday concerns; exploring depression as a part of grieving; developing practical strategies to handle the holiday season; discussing the role of spiritual comfort during the holidays; and creating ways to remember loved ones.
