The Albany Board of Education accepted a generous donation of $66,635 from community member Mr. Harvey Kopp. The project will begin shortly after school ending in the month of June. If you donated money toward the new gym floor and names reflecting this donation were engraved into an area on bleacher boards, you will be contacted prior to the commencement of the project. Your family/group will be given the opportunity to keep the section of the engraved bleachers. The district will also be creating some type of plaque to be placed in the gym, recognizing your contribution to the district.
