To the editor:

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what a fabulous community you have! 

I was a crafter on Saturday with your Cheese Days festivities. I do craft shows all over the state, probably eight a year, since 2009. I have never been treated so kindly, had so much fun or been that sad to pack up for the day. What you have in Monroe is a truly wonderful sense of community pride. In this day, that is extremely hard to find. From the youngest to the oldest, all of your volunteers and community members (whom I was lucky enough to cross paths with Saturday) were helpful, full of positivity and certainly proud to call Monroe home.
