To the editor:

I don't know what they are thinking about having a new 5,800-cow dairy.

1. Should have test wells now (because of all the rain).

2. Moratorium on any new dairy (State and federal).

3. Where are they going to get a market? (I suppose they will force the small farmers out).

4. We have an oversupply now (worldwide).

5. The U.S. will have to buy surplus (so the taxpayer will have to foot the bill).

6. Where do they get the money (legal or not).

7. So really U.S. taxpayers on the book.

P.S. Cheesemaker and dairy farmer for 40 years. Contact your state and federal reps about a moratorium on any new dairies till surplus is gone.
