Wis. Heights slows New Glarus

NEW GLARUS - In a showdown for Capitol South Conference supremacy, Wisconsin Heights Grady Geishirt tossed a complete game three-hitter to propel the Vanguards to a 6-1 win over the Glarner Knights Friday. Geishirt gave up one run on three hits, while striking out seven and walking two to get the win. New Glarus sophomore Cooper Dryfus had a double, senior Jared Carney and sophomore Connor Siegenthaler each had singles.
