Who should be this week's Monroe, Area Boys and Area Girls Athletes of the Week?

Trevor Gorr, Wrestling: The sophomore 215-pounder went 4-0 and had three pins en route to winning the championship at the Raider Scramble Dec. 11.

Nick Walker, Wrestling: The senior went 4-0 with three pins to win the heavyweight title at the Raider Scramble Dec. 11.

Bryan Tordoff, Boys Basketball: The senior scored 14 points in the Cheesemakers 54-28 win over Milton Dec. 10.

Area Boys

Mike Nolden, Sugar River Wrestling: The senior 189-pounder went 5-0 with three pins to win the championship at the Raider Scramble Dec. 11.

Josh Peters, Albany Basketball: The senior scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Comets to their first win - 59-45 over Argyle.

Tyler Kreklow, New Glarus Boys Basketball: The junior guard scored a game-high 21 points including 12 points in the fourth quarter to lift the Knights to a 62-55 win over Monticello Dec. 11.

Area Girls

Rachel Rygh, Black Hawk: The senior scored 15 points in an 85-31 thrashing of Pecatonica. She also scored 17 points to lead the Warriors to a 59-45 win over Albany.

C.J. Dunwiddie:, Juda Basketball: The junior scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Panthers to a 56-41 win over Argyle Dec. 10.

Sydney Bump, Albany Basketball: The senior scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Comets to a 57-51 win over Monticello.
