Sugar River shuts down Columbus

COLUMBUS - Sugar River picked up its first win of the season, shutting down Columbus 2-0 Friday.

Sugar River junior Taylor Legler scored the first goal at 43 minutes, 55 seconds to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead. With the win, Sugar River improves to 1-1, 1-0 Capitol Conference.

Sugar River senior Breanne Kreklow added to the lead scoring a goal at 54:54 to seal the Raiders' victory.
