ALBANY - Cross country co-coaches Jim Ingold and Scott Moser rested the top five runners for both the Monroe boys and girls teams Saturday at the 25th annual Baertschi Invitational. The Monroe boys finished fifth out of 12 teams in the large school division and the Monroe girls took last out of 11 teams. "We wanted to train our top runners through this meet and give our other runners a chance to step up and compete at the varsity level," Ingold said.
