Penalties doom Fury in 4-0 loss to USM

MILWAUKEE — The Rock County Fury lost to the University School of Milwaukee 4-0 Dec. 1.

USM took a 2-0 lead on two late second period goals scored within 14 seconds of each other. The home team added two more goals in the third to close out the game.

The Fury were called for 10 minor penalties in the game to USM’s four. Rock County had 18 shots on goal, while netminder Olivia Cronin saved 20 of the 24 shots that came her way.

The Fury (2-3) get back on the ice Dec. 7 for its conference opener at Stoughton (1-3, 0-1 Badger Conference).
