Monroe coach Matt Bordner said the Cheesemakers were scrappy and patient and he was especially happy with the way his team played at doubles.

“Our doubles lineup swept, which was great to see with the amount of time we’ve worked with our doubles teams over the past week or so. We’re getting better with our doubles movement and volleys but have plenty of work ahead,” said Bordner.

Monroe hosted Madison Country Day-Abundant Life in high school tennis on April 17.
