BRODHEAD — Cardinals senior Abbey Johnson capped her prep volleyball career as a first-team all-conference selection in the Rock Valley and received an honorable mention all-state nod by the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association.

Johnson, a setting and outside hitter, led her team in nearly every major statistical category.

Joining Johnson on the all-conference team was junior middle hitter Katie Goecks as a second-team selection, and senior hitter Alexis Oliver as honorable mention.

Brodhead finished fifth in conference and lost in a five-set nail-biter in the regional final to Wisconsin Heights.
