MONROE — The Home Talent Baseball playoff picture was determined following games on Sunday, July 30.

Blanchardville, which had a bye on Sunday, finished 6-7 in the division.

Argyle, which finished 1-12 in the division, did not qualify for playoffs.

Verona finished the regular season undefeated and will host Arena, while No. 5-seeded Dodgeville will travel to No. 4-seeded Pine Bluff-Mount Horeb.

Playoffs will continue on Sunday, August 6 with the lowest remaining seed at the highest remaining seed. The second-lowest seed will travel to the second-highest seed.

The Western Section final will be played on Sunday, Aug. 13 with the lower seed at the higher seed.

The Championship Series will be played over a three-week period, beginning on Sunday, August 20. The championship game will be on Monday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m.

In 2022, Verona won the Night League, while Blanchardville was the Southern Division League Night champions. Carter Schmitz of Dodgeville was named the Pitcher of the Year, while Justin Scanlon, Verona’s manager, was named Manager of the Year, Western Section MVP and led the league in hitting.
