EAST TROY - Dana Lewis scored 16 points and Kristen Ruchti hit 15 as Brodhead ran all over East Troy 64-34 in Rock Valley South action Friday night.
Eleven Cardinals scored in the game, which seemed over with by halftime. Brodhead took a 20-7 lead after the first quarter and led 34-13 at halftime.
Brodhead also hit five 3-pointers in the game, two of which were made by Courtney Mielke (8 points).
Riverdale 43, Darlington 40
DARLINGTON - The Redbirds (1-2, 0-1) lost their SWAL Conference opener 43-40 to Riverdale Friday.
Riverdale used a 12-2 third quarter run to erase the Redbird's 20-16 halftime lead.
"It was a disappointing night," Darlington coach Kurt Cohen said. "We shot 21 percent and 45 percent from the free throw line."
Darlington senior Katie Martin scored a team-high 12 points and junior Ashley Martin added 10.
