Brodhead-Juda wrestlers fall in home opener

BRODHEAD - The Brodhead-Juda wrestling team lost its home opener Thursday to Clinton, 46-22.

Jeremy Rosheisen scored a pin for the Cardinals in the 125-pound match in 1 minute, 39 seconds over Clinton's Salvador Carranza.

Brodhead-Juda's Cale Zettle took a major decision at 145 over Jared Larson, 16-6.

The Cardinals' Brandon Hart won by decision in the 171 class over Ken Wirkuty, 11-8, and Dylan Seveson beat Neil Pohl 6-1 in the heavyweight division.

Brodhead-Juda's other win Thursday came in the 103 class, where Josh McHoes won by forfeit.
