Warren Dean Schneeberger, age 77, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was born the son of William and Gladys (Blumer) Schneeberger on September 2, 1945, in Monroe. He graduated as Valedictorian from Albany High School in 1963. Warren retired after a long career at Varco Pruden Buildings (BlueScope) in Evansville.
Warren was a lifelong sports fan cheering on the Packers, Badgers, Bucks, and Brewers. He loved attending his children’s, grandchildren’s, nieces’, and nephews’ sporting events. Often, you could run into him at a local high school basketball game. He loved to play sports as well, especially golf, bowling and softball. He always looked forward to the weekly game of pinochle with his brothers and sisters. If family or friends needed help, Warren was always there to volunteer his time.
Warren is survived by his sons, Brad (Dianne) of Nashville, TN, Scott (Virginia) of Stoughton, and Chad (Leslie) of Edgerton; brothers, Robert (Kathy) of Raymore, MO, Roger of Oregon, and Eugene (Romaine) of Mt. Horeb; sisters, Eileen (Walt) Althaus of Albany, Joan (Bill) Flood of Brodhead, and Kathy Naber of Versailles, KY; and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gladys, and his brother Fred.
The celebration will be at the Albany Lions Club from 1 to 4 on Saturday, September 2nd.
