Russell R. Bauman, age 86, of Juda passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at his home.  He was born on September 4, 1937 the son of Herman and Della (Foulker) Bauman.  Russ married the love of his life Phyllis Andrews on October 18, 1955 in Monroe. 

Russ was a dedicated dairy farmer and an active member of his community.  He was a volunteer for the Juda Fire Department.  He also served as a board member for the Sylvester Township.  Russ was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing; and many trips to Northern Wisconsin.  However, his greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will remember him for his love, wisdom, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Russell is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Juda; children, Jeff (Kelli) Bauman of Juda, Jim (Kim) Bauman of Juda, Russ Bauman of Grand Prairie, TX, Linda (Dan) Kundert of Monroe, Brian (Carolyn) Bauman of Juda, and Brenda (Cameron) Shager of South Wayne; grandchildren, Bryanna (Nick) Jacobson, Chase (Kayla) Bauman, Karlee Bauman, Tanner Bauman, Chelsea (Derrick) Rundle, Dylan (Lexus Trickel) Bauman, Cole Bauman, Brad (Danielle) Bauman, Lisa (Khan) Pham, Megan (Justin) Mielke, Brent Kundert, Bryan (Samantha) Bauman, Brandon (Kelly) Bauman, Chaesta (Dan) Kirchner; step-grandchildren, Paul Picayo and Maria (Petrus) Bui; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way; brothers, Harvey (Louise) Bauman of Monroe, Roger (Doreen) Bauman of Monroe; and Virgil (Joanne) Bauman of WY.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter in infancy, Cindy Lou; and sister, Nancy (Roger) Zimmerman.
