Roger “Crow” Bidlingmaier, age 65, of Winslow, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at FHN in Freeport, IL with his children by his side.  He was born the son of Marvin and Marilyn (Haman) Bidlingmaier on February 5, 1958.  Crow graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1976.  He was formerly married to Jill Stockton and together they have two children.

Roger was a member of Martintown Community Church.  He was an avid card player even though he made up his own rules.  He also enjoyed deer hunting, sharing his many “Crowfucious” sayings, and was proud to farm in both Wisconsin and Illinois.

Crow was a very special person that was loved by many.  He was a kind hearted, caring and a sweet individual.  He was a fun-loving jokester to his core.  Roger’s big smile and personality could light up the room.  He lived his life to the absolute fullest and always made time to enjoy the little things.  He was handy, smart, and a wizard with duct tape, WD-40, and some bailer twine.

Roger is survived by his children, Brock (Tara) Bidlingmaier and Calyn (Barry) Milz; grandchildren, Landon, Kellen, Banks Bidlingmaier and Madyn, Taya, Gannon Milz; brothers, Jeff (Barb) Bidlingmaier and Tom (Deb) Bidlingmaier; sister, Mindy (Craig) McGinnis; dear nephew, Hollace Julius; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, his dog, Abby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Bidlingmaier and Marilyn (Ray) Miskimon; brother, Steven Bidlingmaier; maternal grandparents, Chester and Ida Haman; paternal grandparents, Albert and Lena Bidlingmaier; and special family member, Roger Wand.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Martintown Community Church with Pastor Kevin Cernek officiating.  Burial will follow at Rock Lily Cemetery in Winslow, IL. 

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home in Monroe.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
