Raymond E. Meier, age 89 of Warren, passed away June 1, 2026, in Monroe, WI, surrounded by his family. Raymond was born on September 20, 1936, to August and Elsie (Taber) Meier. He married Hope Gama on September 13, 1963, in Lena, IL.

Ray committed his life to farming, he farmed alongside his father August until his father’s retirement. He continued to farm and in 1977 Raymond and Hope purchased a farm in Warren, which fueled their shared passion for agriculture. Though his true passion lay in farming, he also dedicated himself to helping family and friends in need. Ray’s kind and caring personality was reflected in his lifelong friendships. He maintained the connections with friends who took the time to continue those relationships. Ray was extremely proud of his family and the life he built.

Raymond is survived by his four children- Robyn (Richard SR.) Runkle of Warren, Jodi Engerman of Monroe, Todd (Suzanne) Meier of Monroe, and Terri Keegan of Monroe; nine grandchildren- April and Charles Fenn, Breann Meier, Nicole (Hannah) Engerman, Lauren (Troy) Hawkinson, Aaron (Breanna) Meier, Alyssa (Ben) Goerdt, Tara (Matthew) Amorose and Vanessa Meier; six great- grandchildren and two on the way; brother Larry (Val) Meier of AZ and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Hope, daughter in infancy Rhonda, great grandchild Emmrie, and his brothers Robert, Jack and Ronnie Meier.

Funeral service will take place at 10: 00 a.m. on Monday June 8, 2026, at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.

Visitation will be held from 2:00- 5:00 p.m. on Sunday June 7, 2026 at the Bartell- Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

Officiating the service will be Michael Leonard.

Interment will take place at La Due Cemetery in South Wayne, WI.

In Lieu of Flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
