Myrtle M. Pagel, age 86 of Albany, died Sunday December 13, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on January 14, 1934 in Mineral Point, WI, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Harvey) Arndt. Myrtle married Alvin L. Pagel on February 23, 1952 in Mineral Point; he passed away in January of 2010.

Myrtle loved her cats, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles; but her biggest joy was being a stay-at-home mother and raising her family.

She is survived by her sons: Harold Pagel of King, Mike Pagel of Brodhead, Jerry Pagel of Albany, Roger Pagel of Evansville; 4 grandchildren: Becky (Jeremy) Corning of Juda, Kristopher Bell of Janesville, Krystal Pagel of Evansville, Tim Pagel of Evansville and 9 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Fred Pagel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on December 17, 2020 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
