Judith E. Walden, age 88, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Community Living Options.  She was born on May 31, 1936 the daughter of Leonard and Lucille (Hefty) Walden.  She graduated from New Glarus High School.    

Judy started working for the Monroe Phone Company, she then went on to work at the Monroe Middle School for over twenty years as a library aid.  After retiring she worked part time at the Swiss Colony call center.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Judy enjoyed reading and visiting with friends.  

Judy is survived by her children, Kris Opatz of Kenosha, Timothy Weiss of Monroe, and Sherrin Weiss of Ogden, UT; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sisters, LaVonne (Rodney) Wittwer of Jefferson and Darlene (Henry) Waelchli of Janesville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Kathleen Miller.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM Noon at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home with Dave Higham officiating.  Burial will follow at Adams Lutheran Cemetery in Argyle.
