Janet Albertson, age 79, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital.  She was born February 16, 1942 the daughter of Thomas and Beatrice (White) Leffingwell.  She attended Verona High School and later the UW Madison where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Radiology.

Janet married Wayne Albertson on October 5, 1963 in Belleville, WI.  She was a radiologist in Madison for several years before becoming a Licensed Real Estate Agent.  She was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church and also a very active member of the Albany community.  

Janet is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Karen Albertson both of Albany; sister, Barb (Dan) Elmer of Oregon; and several dear friends and extended relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sharon Kruger; son, Duane “Dewey” Albertson; and sister, Blanche (Ken) Blake.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Albany United Methodist Church with Reverend Thomas Moe officiating. A time to gather and celebrate Janet’s life will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at the church.
