Brian Lee Haberman, age 62, of Monroe passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at SSM Health Monroe Hospital. He was born the son Robert and Marjorie (Bliss) Haberman on October 24, 1959 in Monroe. He attended school in Brodhead. Brian was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Collins on April 10, 1982 in Brodhead; she preceded him in death in 1986.
Brian worked at International Ingredients in Monroe for 17 years. He later worked for Kreb’s Family Dairy in Monroe for several years. Farming became a passion for Brian, he truly took pride in the work he did there. He also loved getting to be a “Uncle Brian” to the Krebs’ children. Brian’s greatest joys in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his children, Brianna (Hugo) Hernandez of Monroe and Robert “Bubba” Haberman of Necedah; grandchildren, Stephanie, Anthany, Alejandro, Marissa, Xavi, Loran, Josie, Brooke and Kouper; great-grandchildren, Makya and Zayden; siblings, Jim Haberman, Bobby (Karen) Haberman, Denny (Cindy) Haberman, Richard (Theresa) Haberman, and Vicky (Rick) Dix; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Peggy Haberman; brother-in-law, Walt Bandi; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Haberman; mother, Marjorie (Henry) Tessendorf; wife, Shirley; siblings, Jeff and Larry Haberman, and Barb Bandi; and sister-in-law, Lynn Haberman.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Sarah Mae Gabuyo officiating. Burial will follow service in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home; as Brian would have wanted, feel free to dress casually.
