Betty M. Wahl, age 88, of Argyle, WI passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Monroe Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on February 1, 1932 at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Herman E. and Marie (Grossen) Voegeli. She attended Prairie View Country School in Adams Township. She married Lavern G. Wahl on December 3, 1952 at Zwingli Evangelical Reformed Church in Monticello, WI. After marriage they spent the rest of their lives farming in Adams Township. She was a member of Washington Reformation Church, Monticello. She was also a member of the Rudy Burkhalter Accordion Band. She enjoyed going to Turner Hall dances with her Aunt Wilma Grossen. She was very proud of and loved spending time with her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her pastime was spent in the kitchen making meals with a delicious dessert. Good Memories always involve food – especially desserts. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her son Gerald (Kristine) Wahl of Argyle; four grandchildren, Hillary (Andy) Boeke , Juda; Cameron (Kelly Neuenschwander) Wahl , Livingston; Connor (Karissa Figi) Wahl, Argyle; and Mia Wahl ,Argyle; four great grandchildren Braxton, Kinzley, and Barrett Boeke, Juda; and Dixie Wahl, Argyle; Betty is also survived by her sister Beverly Ostby, Evansville, sister-in-law Avis (Aldine) Sponem, Verona; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Larry; brothers, Ralph, Harland, Gaylord; infant sister, Helen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1pm at Shriner Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home followed by the burial at Highland Cemetery, Monticello, WI. A visitation will be held from 10am-1pm. Officiating will be Pastor Kelly Volk.
