MADISON - Jane Weldon, Monroe, was honored as Outstanding Faculty of the Year at the University of Phoenix commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 9 at the Milwaukee Theatre.
Weldon has been teaching part-time at the university's Madison campus since 2010. She is part of the Department of Natural Sciences and teaches the full curriculum of health care administration courses for the university.
Students evaluate their instructors at the end of each course and are asked, once a year, to nominate the faculty who they feel is most outstanding. The award is given to the faculty who received the highest level of recommendation.
Weldon is the vice president of mission integration and clinical operation at Monroe Clinic.
