MONROE — Brian W. Bahler is a registered sexual offender in Wisconsin that is scheduled for release into the community.
Bahler, 36, is a 5-foot, 11-inch, 183-pound white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He will reside at 1702 6th Avenue, Lot 1 in Monroe, according to a press release from Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley.
Bahler was convicted in Green County in 2021 of possessing child pornography and attempting to solicit adult females in exchange for money.
Bahler was scheduled to be released from the Department of Corrections on Dec. 9 after completing his sentence.
“Mr. Bahler will be under the supervision of the Department of Corrections with rules to follow and with electronic monitoring. He must be registered with the Sex Offender Registry,” Kelley said. “This notice is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.”
