BROOKLYN - One person was found dead at the scene of a house fire in Brooklyn Sunday afternoon.The Green County Sheriff's Department was alerted at about 1 p.m. Sunday to W166 Amidon Road in Brooklyn township to check on the welfare of a man who was reported to be making threats to harm himself. The home was on fire when deputies arrived and a family member was trying to enter the structure, according to the Green County Sheriff's Department. Heat and smoke were too intense for anyone to enter.
