MONROE — The Monroe Tuesday Noon Optimist Club recently held a photo contest for middle school and high school age students.

The photos had to relate to a verse from the Optimist Creed.

First place at the high school level went to Alyssa Roelli. She was awarded a $75 cash prize. Middle school winners are featured.

Second place winner, Nalani Kundert featured with her photo entry and $50 prize.
