MONROE - A New Glarus man was charged last week with selling narcotics and marijuana to undercover police officers throughout 2015.
Leroy A. Parmer, 39, was charged with a Class E felony count of delivering a Schedule II narcotic and two Class I felony charges of delivering THC.
The first THC charge arose after Parmer sold 7.2 grams of marijuana to an undercover agent May 13, 2015 in the 300 block of Elmer Road in New Glarus. The agent purchased the marijuana for $120.
Parmer then sold an additional 7 grams of marijuana for another $120 on May 21, 2015, this time in the 200 block of 8th Street in Monroe.
Parmer incurred his final charge Sept. 18, 2015, when he sold three 10-milligram tablets of oxycodone to an agent in the 1600 block of 9th Street in Monroe. Oxycodone is a Schedule II narcotic and has a high potential for abuse or severe dependence.
The agent purchased the oxycodone for $40.
If found guilty on all charges, Parmer faces a maximum possible sentence of 13 years in prison.
