MONROE - The City of Monroe is seeking individuals interested in serving as election inspectors.
Qualifications include: must be able to read, write and understand the English language; may not be a candidate for any office to be voted on at an election at which you serve; and must be a qualified elector of Green County.
The typical work day at an election runs from about 6:30 a.m. until 8 p.m., with two half-hour uncompensated lunch breaks. The pay is $7.25 per hour for all hours worked. The City of Monroe does not currently offer split shifts. Poll workers will be expected to serve the entire day.
