Monroe library re-opens
Monroe Library

MONROE — The Monroe Public Library will open to the public on Monday, March 21.

The Library Board of Trustees has followed their established plan to open the library at the “high” disease activity level, as determined by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The library has worked to balance service and safety for the last several months, and the Board is glad that the library can once again be a safe community gathering place.

Community members are welcome to visit the library to check out books and movies, use the computers, read periodicals, browse, study, and more. The large meeting room is not yet available to book. Children’s programming has been set through March; changes for April will be announced.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Requests for accommodations to visit the library in a safer manner can be made by calling to make an appointment. For library questions, call 608-328-7010. To contact the Board, email board@monroepubliclibrary.org.
