MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center will present MAC Comedy Club at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 in Rudd Hall.
Hosted by local Monroe comedian, Chris Soukup, the evening with be filled with non-stop grins, giggles, and guffaws. Guests will receive the VIP treatment with a selection of tasty hors d’oeuvres as nationally known comedians Matt Sommerfield and Miles Weber take the stage.
This event is for audiences 18 years and above.

Visual arts opportunities
The Monroe Arts Center invites non-professional adult and youth artists from Green County to present their own work at MAC.
Area students, ages K-12 can enter the Monroe Arts Center Monsignor Campion 2024 Student Art Contest, which is now open.
This annual contest celebrates young local artists. All entries will be on display in MAC’s Monsignor Thomas F. Campion Youth Gallery, and artists who register before March 8 are eligible to receive an Art Start Kit.
Art categories include sculpture, painting, drawing, and digital. All submissions are due by April 26. Winners will receive cash awards and will be announced on May 1.

In addition to MAC’s 2024 Student Art Contest, the Monroe Arts Center will exhibit artwork entered in the Wisconsin Regional Arts Program (WRAP) Competition. This competition and exhibit are open to non-professional artists who are 18 years and above, and live in Wisconsin or neighboring states. Artwork will be on exhibit March 22 through May 18.
