ORANGEVILLE — The Illinois Dept. of Transportation announced that construction will begin this week in Stephenson County between the Wisconsin state line and Brush Creek, just south of Orangeville. Work will include patch, mill and resurfacing of the road. There will be daily lane closures during the $3.8 million project, which is expected to be completed in November.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area and be prepared for slow and stopped traffic. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes
