MONROE - Area children who want to make sure their wishes are known to Old St. Nick are invited to submit a letter to Santa Claus for publication in The Monroe Times' annual "Letters to Santa."
Santa, a loyal reader of the Times, uses these letters to help compile his list for Christmas Eve deliveries.
All submitted letters also will be entered in a drawing for six randomly-selected prizes of $25 in Monroe Money.
Children through age 12 are eligible to enter. Letters should include the child's name, age, address and telephone number.
Letters can be sent to: Letters to Santa, Monroe Times News Dept., 1065 4th Ave. West, Monroe WI 53566; or e-mailed to newsclerk@themonroetimes.com.
Teachers submitting letters on behalf of their students should include the students' first and last names, grade level and school.
Letters must be submitted by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28.
