MONROE - The first anniversary celebration for Family Promise will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Peppercorn Banquets and Catering at Ludlow Mansion, 1421 Mansion Drive.
Featured speakers include Jeannie Blumer, W-2/economic support supervisor for Green County Human Services, and Pastor Rick Gleason, housing director, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Madison.
The celebration is designed to show how Family Promise has impacted those in the community who are coping with homelessness and the accompanying loss of security and self-worth.
