Cruis'n Wisconsin car show set for July 23

BLANCHARDVILLE - The Blanchardville Community Pride will sponsor its 28th annual Cruis'n Wisconsin Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show, rain or shine, on Sunday, July 23 in McKellar Park.

General admission is $2 and children under 12 are free.

This year's feature vehicle will be a 1956 Buick two-door "Nailed," owned by Mark and Ellen Willman, Blue Grass, Iowa. Built by Rad Rides by Troy, the Buick was awarded the 2013 Good Guys Custom Rod of the Year, a Great 8 finalist for the 2013 Ridler Award, AM Hot Rod Glass feature start at SEMA, Art Morrison feature at NSRA Louisville, and a HOT Rod Magazine feature in October 2013.

Full Boar Enterprises will be on hand with its portable dyno chasis measuring horsepower and torque for $80 for two pulls. Jeff Haberman will also be displaying a 1911 Flying Merkel Board Track Racer.

All stock to 6-years-old and modified to present vehicles are welcome. More than 130 trophies will be awarded.

Door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, T-shirts and beer and food will be available. Dash plaques will be given to the first 400 vehicles. Vehicle registration is $6 before July 10 and $12 at the door. Registration time is 8 a.m. to noon.
