MONROE - Green County Sheriff's Deputies, Albany Police Department, Albany EMS and Albany Fire Department responded to the intersection of Wisconsin 59 at Decatur-Sylvester Road, in the Town of Decatur, for a motor vehicle crash with injuries and partial road blockage at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday. Pedro Yescas-Vasquex, 48, Brodhead, was stopped in the westbound lane, waiting to turn southbound onto Decatur-Sylvester Road, when a vehicle driven by Robert T. Flanagan, 64, Monroe, stopped behind Yescas-Vasquez, waiting to complete his turn. As they waited, a vehicle driven by Jeremy M. Ripp, 33, Monroe, was westbound on Wis. 59 when he failed to slow and/or stop for the stopped vehicles.
