As fall nears, we thought we'd take a break from our regular interview column this month to offer up a selection of engaging books you'll want to cozy up with - from classic and contemporary fiction to history and how-tos. We'll be back next month with another great interview with a local reader.

"The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend"

"At Home: A Short History of Private Life"

With its fall setting and autumnal themes of endings and faded youth, it's the ideal time to read or revisit Austen's most romantic novel.
