MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at about noon Monday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 16th Street. Officers report a semi-tractor driven by Dennis L. Holverson, 47, Browntown, lost its trailer, which collided with a vehicle driven by Jody L. Smith, 36, Orangeville, Ill. Vehicle damage was not reported.

MONROE - No injuries were reported at a two-vehicle accident at about 11:30 a.m. Monday on Church Street at Commercial Street in the Village of Brooklyn. Deputies report Bruce A. Hefty, 52, Belleville, was turning north onto Commercial Street towing a single-axle trailer. According to police reports, he saw an oncoming semi-tractor trailer unit and braked, causing his trailer to slide on the snow into the path of the oncoming unit, driven by Michael J. Disch, 41, Evansville. The trailers received minor damage and all units were driven from the scene.

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:15 p.m. Monday in the N9600 block of Primrose Center Road in the Town of New Glarus. Deputies report Lynne D. Amble, 45, Belleville, was southbound on Primrose Center Road and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the road and collided with a power pole owned by Alliant Energy. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Alliant Energy responded to replace the pole. Amble will be cited for having no insurance.
