Monroe Police

MONROE - Miranda E. Meier, 18, Monroe, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of 23rd Avenue. Police report her vehicle hit a utility pole. The vehicle received moderate damage. The Monroe Fire Department and Alliant Energy assisted at the scene.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Zachery W. Jensen, 20, New Glarus, was arrested for failure to yield from a stop sign, failure to notify police of an accident, driving without insurance and speeding following a three-vehicle accident at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday on 6th Avenue and Railroad Street. Police report Jensen's vehicle drove through the intersection and hit a vehicle driven by Diane F. Studer, 67, Monticello. Studer's vehicle fled the scene. Studer's vehicle then hit a parked vehicle owned by Ralph H. Frietag, 91, New Glarus. Studer's vehicle and Frietag's vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 9:30 a.m. Friday on 1st Street near 5th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Glen V. Turner, 62, New Glarus, hit a parked vehicle owned by Susan M. Tinker, 54, Monroe. The vehicles received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Tiffany A. Hoffman, 22, Oregon, collided with a deer at about midnight Friday in the N9600 block of Wisconsin 69. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by David M. Ciabatti, 46, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 north of Allison Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:30 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Sylvia A. Badertscher, 70, Darlington, failed to negotiate a curve, slid into the ditch and overturned. Badertscher's vehicle was towed from the scene. The Darlington Fire Department, Darlington Police Department and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:15 p.m. Friday on County Z in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Braden M. Zywicki, 18, Darlington, swerved to avoid a deer, went onto the gravel, crossed the center line, went off the road and rolled. The Darlington Fire Department and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.
