MONROE - Brandon D. Goznikar was involved in a vehicle-deer accident Sunday in the W3100 block of County KS.
On Monday:
No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:19 a.m. at the intersection of County K and Five Corner Road, Clarno Township. Nicholas C. Maveus, 20, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle while cresting a hill. Maveus' vehicle then sideswiped a truck operated by Scott J. Paffel, 36, of Monroe. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Maveus was cited for failure to maintain control.
At 8:05 a.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the W3000 block of Wisconsin 92, Exeter Township. Stefan Smith, 47, was backing out of a private drive into the path of a vehicle driven by Dori S. McFarlane, 54, of Edgerton. The vehicles collided, causing moderate damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Smith was cited for unsafe backing.
Two vehicles received moderate damage in an accident at 8:38 a.m. in the N4100 block of Wis. 59, Sylvester Township. Thomas C. Smyth, 49, Stoughton, was westbound on Wis. 59 when he began to slow down to avoid colliding with vehicles in front of him. Smyth's vehicle was then rear-ended by Johann R. Kleisch Jr., 17, of Evansville. Neither driver was injured.
At 9:21 a.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash in the N2500 block of County OK, Decatur Township. Investigation revealed that Bobby J. Neal, 34, Brodhead was southbound on County OK when she lost control and collided with a traffic sign. No injuries were reported.
Deputies responded to seven other vehicles in the ditch at various locations in the county.

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded to County B, Wayne Township, for a one-vehicle accident at 2:38 p.m. Sunday. Stephen D. Detra, 20, South Wayne was traveling west on County B when he failed to negotiate a corner, causing him to enter the ditchline, tipping his vehicle on the driver side. Detra's vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
