MONROE - Ashley K. Kloss, 23, Platteville, and her passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 3:08 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, in the W6800 block of Wisconsin 81 in Monroe Township. Kloss lost control on a curve and collided with a tree. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed.
• No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. tractor crash on Legler Road north of Mortenson Road in Brooklyn Township at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. John H. Lawrence, 49, Brooklyn, was southbound following a 1975 John Deere 2240 farm tractor operated by Bernard C. Easterday, 83, Brooklyn, when he decided to pass the tractor just as Easterday was turning it east into a field. The vehicle and tractor collided. Lawrence's vehicle was severely damaged and removed from the scene. Easterday's tractor was undamaged and driven from the scene.
